Description
Challenge of the GoBots describes the conflict between the two groups of titular GoBots: the Guardians under Leader-1 and the Renegades under Cy-Kill. The inhabitants of the planet Gobotron, they were once a humanoid race until the actions of the Master Renegade rendered their planet uninhabitable, forcing the Last Engineer to create a process by which their brains could be preserved in robotic bodies. These bodies were later granted the ability to transform into vehicles, and the conflict between the two sides eventually took them to Earth and Quartex, the latter the home of the Rock Lords.
