Geeper-Creeper is a fictional character from the GoBots series. He is an evil Renegade GoBot who turns into a Jeep and was introduced in 1983.

GoBots

Geeper-Creeper was one of the Renegade followers of Cy-Kill who turns into a Jeep.[1]

Reception

In 1985 Pepsi Cola had a promotion where you could get a "Convert-Able" toy by sending in $1, three proofs of purchase from a Pepsi product and 50 cents shipping. One of the toys you could get was Imperial Toys "Convert-A-Jeep", who was the same design as Geeper-Creeper.[2]

Geeper-Creeper was chosen as the 11th goofiest GoBot name by Topless Robot in 2010.[3]

Geeper-Creeper was named 9th on the list of "20 GoBots That Remind Us Why the GoBots Sucked So Incredibly Hard" by Rob Bricken on gizmodo.com in 2013.[4]

Geeper Creeper was 8th among the "The Ten Best GoBots Ever Produced!" by Gnoll at dorkdroppings.com in 2015.[5]

Abilities

Like most GoBots, Geeper-Creeper has numerous abilities because of robotic body. He can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a Jeep.

Fictional biography

Geeper-Creeper has a mean streak that gives anyone the creeps. Cy-Kill's loyal thug, Geeper Creeper sneaks around disguised as an army off road vehicle.

Animated series

Geeper-Creeper first appeared in episode 1 of Challenge of the GoBots, "The Battle for GoBotron". He was among the Renegades in Cy-Kill fortress on GoBotron present just before Cy-Kill left for Earth.[6]

Geeper-Creeper appeared in episode 5, "The Final Conflict" where he was among the Renegades captured on GoBotron.

Geeper-Greeper and Slicks in Challenge of the GoBots

In "The Fall of GoBotron" episode 9 after Cy-Kill takes over GoBotron Geeper-Creeper and Slicks are assigned to guard the modifier. They are lured away by Scooter and lead into a Guardian ambush by Turbo, Small Foot and Sparky.

Geeper-Creeper appears in "Flight to Earth" episode 10. He and BuggyMan chase Scooter and Sparky on GoBotron.

In "It's The Thought That Counts" episode 15 Cy-Kill, Cop-Tur, Crasher, Geeper-Creeper, Pincher, and Snoop attack a lab, but it is defended by Leader-1, Professor von Joy, Blaster, Dozer, Dumper, Road Ranger, Scooter, Scratch and Turbo. Although the Guardians are winning the battle, an accidental backfire from Professor von Joy's weapon allows the Renegades to escape.

In "Destroy All Guardians" episode 47 Geeper-Creeper and Tank are seen among Cy-Kill's guards on the Roguestar.

He also appears in "Escape from Elba" episode 48.

In "Clutch of Doom" episode 50 Geeper-Creeper is among the Renegades who put the captured Guardians Blaster and Vanguard in prison.

Geeper-Creeper appears in "The Third Column" episode 51 where he sides with Zero, who tries to take over the Renegades from Cy-Kill.

Geeper-Creeper appeared in the 1985 Robo Machine book The Wagner Sirens.[7]

Geeper-Creeper appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 9 story "Cy-Kill For President".[8]

Geeper-Creeper appeared in the episode 56 story "The Scootonium Scenario".

Echoverse

Geeper-Creeper was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film.[9]
