Anya Turgenova
Doctor Anya Turgenova is a fictional character from the GoBots series.
History
Animated series
Dr. Turgenova created a material known as Sorium that came to be coveted by the Renegades, who also attempted to kidnap her only to end up causing an avalanche that left her trapped. Fortunately, UNECOM and the Guardians were able to rescue her, and with her help they thwarted the Renegade plot. Anya would go on to aid UNECOM in other adventures, and briefly demonstrated an attraction to Matt Hunter.

Dr. Turgenova featured briefly in an episode of Renegade Rhetoric where a device granted sea creatures the ability to communicate with humans and GoBots, and determined that the device could be modified so that it would become impossible to lie to the sea creatures.
Anya Turgenova was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film.[1]
