ApeL.A.W. is a fictional character made by BMOG Toys in 2016. He is a robotic gorilla who turns into an arsenal of weapons.

BMOG Toys

ApeL.A.W. is a character from the BMOG (Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalts) toy line. He is meant to be used as either a stand-alone figure, or as accessories to any toy capable of using 5mm port accessories, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Zoids Blox, and many others.

Development

Fundraising for the BMOG Toys bear and manta mold was done through Kickstarter. The goal of raising $19,000 was surpassed by the end of the fundraising period on December 13th, 2013.

ApeL.A.W. was designed by combining some parts of Deep Blue, Cobiak, Mant-Axe, Ursenal into a new design.

Fictional biography

ApeL.A.W. was brought to life when weapons made by a group of evil interdimensional arms dealers were exposed to the power of the last world seed. He breaks down into a jaws of life which serves as his seat of intelligence, two assault rifles, two missile launchers, a duel barreled laser pistol, a 45k PSI jaws of life, two M.A.U.L.-48 assault rifles and a rustmaker gun.

An original toy design by BMOG Toys.

Ursenal turns from a robotic bear to two rifles, two rocket launchers, a hammer, a combat claw, a scanner and a connector. He shares a mold with Bearald/Cobiak, Bearium, Carbearator, Peg-Paw Plundor and Solarbear.

Mant-Axe Turns from a robotic manta ray to axe and gun. He shares a mold with Chopp-Orr, Deep Blue/Ray Mant the Manta-Ger, Dread Pickaxe Raybot, Gamma-Ray, the Obliteration Cannon and Pick-Slaughter/Sea-Labrys.

Comes with a sticker sheet.

Pieces of Ursenal are used in the design of ApeL.A.W., Brontoscope, Mega-Ursenal, Quadrotitan, Scorpatron, Smackrabbit, Technosaurus X and UltraMog WarMech.

Pieces of Mant-Axe are used in the design of ApeL.A.W., the Obliteration Cannon and Smackrabbit.

Cobiak turns from a robotic bear to two rifles, two rocket launchers, a hammer, a tuning fork, a scanner and a connector. He shares a mold with Bearium, Carbearator, Peg-Paw Plundor, Solarbear and Ursenal.

Deep Blue turns from a robotic manta ray to duel barreled laser pistol and battle axe. He shares a mold with Chopp-Orr, Dread Pickaxe Raybot, Gamma-Ray, Mant-Axe, the Obliteration Cannon and Pick-Slaughter/Sea-Labrys.
