Sideswipe is a member of Bumblebee's team in Robots in Disguise, where he was a minor criminal on Cybertron. After being apprehended by Bumblebee and Strongarm, he proved an unlikely accomplice in Bumbleee's efforts to get to Earth at the behest of Optimus Prime.
