Page titles must be accurate
Welcome to WikiAlpha! Please note that on WikiAlpha, you are required to use page titles that are accurate. This is so that the encyclopedia can be organized, searchable, and accurate.

For example, please do not create a page with a title such as Ali Khan when the content (i.e., the text inside the page) is actually about another person such as John Smith.

Thank you.

Zoe, one of the pages you created was tagged for speedy deletion, with {{db-spam}}.

As my friend noted, this site is an encylcopedia, like the Wikipedia, but with much looser inclusion rules. Some things aren't permitted, including:

  • Spam, loosely defined.
  • Any material that violates someone else's copyright
  • Non-English content.

Those loose inclusion rules are laid out in Wikialpha:CSD. I don't think that your page was spam. So, I am going to revert the tagging. But I am also going to rewrite that page, a little bit. And I am going to encourage you to think of how the readers of an encyclopedia would benefit from your pages.

If your pages remain blog-like, and not really intended for an encyclopedia, they probably will end up being deleted.

Look around. Look at Dove Windsor. At first glance it looks like a biographical encyclopedia page. But it has elements of conceptual art to it. The woman who maintains it? She is not dead. I think it is like her alter-ego, like Superman and Clark Kent. I think that is allowed.
