Mondip Gharai is a Bangladeshi Government Official and Renowned poet. He is now working as Additional Deputy Commissioner ( ADC) at Barishal District. He wrote six books among which the latest book “Ekti Harano Biggopti” has become much popular. He initiated the first Wall Liabrary of Bangladesh called “Ekush” in Shariatpur, Built First Independece Memorial Park at Land office Premises in Abhaynagar, Jessore. Propelled by his single Facebook status, twenty one hundred people gathered to clean water hyacinth from six canals in the said Upazilla in Jessore. Later, inspired by his another facebook status, people from every status in Abhaynagar planted three lacs palm seeds in an hour in 2017. In 2022, Mondip Gharai built the first ever wall of Poetry in the country named “Kabyamaya” in Shariatpur. He Rescued a distressed old woman from the street in the time of COVID -19 in Shariatpur which created much appreciation.

Career
Mondip Gharai Joined Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Cadre in 2013 as Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate. He worked as AC Land at Abhaynagar Jessore in 2017. In the same year, he worked at the Prime Minister Office in A2i Project. He served at the Local Government Divison in LGSP-3 Project as Assistant Project Director. Again, he worked in the Prime Minister Office as Deputy Director, BIDA. In 2020, He joined Shariatpur Sadar Upazila as Upazilla Nirbahi Officer (UNO).
As an Author, his first book published in 2019 named “Olpo golpo”. After that he wrote his first Novel “FU”.
He hosted the popular TV Sports Show “Joto Khela” on Independent Television.
He regulary writes column and literary pieces in national dailies and online media.
