Biography
Monwarul Islam Rebel was born in the village of Monurchara, Parul Union, Rangpur. His birth family pursued diverse agricultural and commercial interests.
That background and education ‘hide’ the fact that the man witnessed continuous riverbank erosions around him as he was growing up in his native Rangpur, erosions which are endemic here in Bangladesh. That paragraph ‘hid’ the fact how much the toils and turmoil of the people so afflicted made his heart bleed.
Add to that, even as a village boy growing up with sweat and soil smears, he was way ahead his peers in terms of energy and enthusiasm. An inquisitive mind, his mind, could not just confine himself to relationship building, and the ensuing politics so visible in villages across our lands. His facility in navigating politics in a scale-less fashion, comes perhaps most from his avid attachment to books, whatever he could find in his reach.
Anyway, that energetic boy comes to be a resident of Kabi Jashimuddin Hall, University of Dhaka and internalizes the passions so much identified with the Politics of Bengal, a Politics which Bangabandhu effectively taught all the citizens of Bangladesh including the next generations to grace this soil. He learned that the Politics of Bengal or Bangladesh is about addressing social problems despite of resistance, problems that must be articulated in the public sphere, a sphere which is united by the Bengali language. The combination of an empathetic heart and heart dedicated to the people got him recognition from the highest echelons of leadership not only in University but beyond. Former Vice Chancellor, AAMS Arefin Siddique, had to speak, along the lines, “Monwar never came to me for anything that he needed as an individual; he is obsessed about serving collective interests. I have best wishes for the Youth Career Institute he established.”
He still visits Kabi Jashimuddin Hall; he sponsors various events for the students; beyond Jashimuddin Hall, he ‘flies’ to all corners of Bangladesh just to see how the innovative aspirations of the youth can be given podiums. Where is the return of all these investments in time and energy? Admittedly, the ‘intangible’ consequences of hid ‘madness’ do not surprise me! His friends are deeply loyal to his ‘Rebel---lious’ advocacies for accountability and social justice. The young people he Mentors are deeply loyal too as a matter of automaton. But the reason for which I find him most ‘foolish’ is the demeanor of a provocateur he wears indefatigably.
I fail to see the wisdom behind his incessant ‘controversial’ posts in the social media especially on human rights and governance. As his friend and potential enemy, I fail to understand why he has such inhuman levels of courage. I fail to see why he takes on the challenges of throwing inescapable questions at individuals, groups, institutions, ‘religions,’ and nations. Cocooned in that inner world of his, he continues to believe that such nudges keep those entities aforementioned firmly focused on a transcendent deontological ethicality. That no one can but commit to acceptance of diversity, coexisting with diversity, and collaborating with diversity.
I sometimes wish that his infatuation with serving others seriously hampers his presence and attention to his family and friends. Really wish so! Yet he defeats me over there too. No matter where I post (in the social media), he finds it, even after hundred years! How frustrating could that be? Every single time I have called him after 9 pm, I could hear the hustle and bustle of his family members around him! He finds time for his child one way or another! I end all my complaints about him for now by restating the following: "In a short span of time, I found Mr. Rebel become a friend from a mere professional acquaintance. He is loyal as a friend, and because of his love for learning, an enemy worthy. I am drawn mostly to his obsessive love for collective interest; he untiringly prospects for the greatest good. When I retire, and go back home with my honor unsullied, I will also remember his inhuman levels of energy." 3 things we must know about Mr. Monwarul Islam Rebel:

Early life
Monwarul Islam Rebel was born in the village of Monurchara, Parul Union, Rangpur, to a family with diverse agricultural and commercial interests. Despite his background and education, Monwar witnessed the continuous riverbank erosions that afflicted his native Rangpur, causing his heart to bleed for the toils and turmoil of the affected people. Growing up, Monwar was an energetic and enthusiastic village boy with an inquisitive mind. He was ahead of his peers and had a keen interest in politics and books. As a resident of Kabi Jashimuddin Hall, University of Dhaka, he internalized the passions associated with the Politics of Bengal and learned to address social problems in the public sphere using the Bengali language.
Monwar's empathetic heart and dedication to serving collective interests earned him recognition from the highest echelons of leadership in University and beyond. He established the Youth Career Institute and sponsors various events for students. Despite being a loyal friend and mentor, Monwar's demeanor as a provocateur who incessantly posts controversial content on social media especially on human rights and governance, is often considered foolish by his friends and potential enemies. However, he believes that such nudges keep those entities aforementioned firmly focused on a transcendent deontological ethicality. Monwar's infatuation with serving others does not hamper his presence and attention to his family and friends. He finds time for his child, and his love for learning makes him an enemy worthy. Monwar loves his teachers, serves the collective interests of his nation, and loves his village. Monwarul Islam Rebel, also known as Rebel Monwar, hails from the Manurchhara village in Parul, Rangpur district, and is a village boy at heart. He is a relentless motivator for the youth, especially in the fields of education, IT, and agriculture, and is working hard for the development of his village. Rebel completed his Honors in International Business and Marketing from Kanpur University and Linguistics at Dhaka University. He also studied business from Swiss Universal Higher Educational Institute Diploma and completed a Master's in Victimology and Restorative Justice at Dhaka University, a Master of Economics from Dhaka School of Economics, a PGD in International Relations, and an ACMP from IBA. He also holds a Diploma in Computing and Cyber Security and Strategic Management from Swiss Universal Higher Educational Institute and completed his research and MPhil in Digital Marketing and Business Leadership. He is currently a Ph.D. Research Fellow at Parul University, Gujarat, India. Rebel is the Founder COO of several established companies, including Edison Group, Safara Holdings (Edison Real Estate), Symphony Mobile's parent company, IT, and agro sector. He served as Marketing Director at Daffodil Group's Dolphin Digital, Daffodil Cyber Security Solutions, Daffodil Multimedia, Skill Jobs. Rebel is a visionary leader and represents the young generation of Bangladesh in corporate culture, work ethics, innovative approach, strategic planning, and business development. Rebel is closely associated with several organizations in Bangladesh, including IT, research institutes, education, society community, and social development.
