Md. Walid Rahman Swapnil ( মো. ওয়ালিদ রহমান স্বপ্নিল ) is one of the best 2D/3D visual designers and digital marketing experts from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has over five years of experience in creating innovative and engaging designs and 360 digital solutions for various clients and platforms. He is also a skilled musician and a passionate learner of new technologies and cultures.

Early life and education

Walid Rahman Swapnil was born on October 12, 1995 in Kishoreganj, Bangladesh. He grew up in a creative and supportive family that encouraged him to pursue his interests in art, music and technology. He attended BRAC University, where he majored in Business He also took diploma courses in Graphic Design, Animation and Web Development from Daffodil International Professional Training Institute.

Career

Walid Rahman Swapnil started his career as a freelance designer and digital marketing consultant back in 2018, working with local and international clients on various projects. He developed his own style and methodology of design, which he describes as “processual”, meaning that he explores and improvises with different digital and analog tools and techniques to create unique and unexpected outcomes. He has worked on projects involving branding, product design, motion graphics, storyboarding, copywriting, photography, audio production and more.


Walid Rahman Swapnil is a visual designer, brand developer and digital marketing consultant who has played a key role in transforming De Jure Academy from a startup online law education platform to a market leading company in Bangladesh. He joined De Jure Academy in September 2020 and since then he has been responsible for discovering new ways to engage with existing and potential customers, suggesting or implementing improvements in areas like YouTube, social media, email marketing and website design, and creating content and campaigns that reflect the vision and mission of the academy.


In 2021, he won the best visual design award ‘Top Illusionist’ from Berger Paints Bangladesh for his work on a campaign that showcased the company’s products and services in a creative and colorful way. He also received recognition from other industry awards and publications for his outstanding work. In 2022, Swapnil moved to Edison Group, a smartphone manufacturer in Bangladesh, as a senior business development executive. He was involved in creating and launching new products, conducting market research, designing promotional materials, collaborating with partners and influencers, and expanding the company's presence in the local and global markets.


Walid Rahman Swapnil was a creative director and product manager behind Litepods, the first TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds in Bangladesh. Litepods are wireless earbuds that offer high-quality sound, noise cancellation, touch control, and long battery life. They are designed to be comfortable, stylish, and affordable for the Bangladeshi market.


Walid Rahman Swapnil was involved in every stage of the product development process, from selection to design and branding. He conducted extensive research on the global and local trends of TWS earbuds, and identified the needs and preferences of the target customers. He then collaborated with the engineering team to create a prototype that met the technical specifications and user expectations. He also supervised the testing and quality control of the product, ensuring that it met the highest standards of performance and durability.

He is responsible for developing and executing online marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, creating content and campaigns, and analyzing data and performance for RestoreIT AB, soldfy.se /soldfy.no / soldfy.dk. He has helped the company grow its online presence and sales by creating engaging and effective designs and marketing materials.


Walid Rahman Swapnil is also involved in various personal and collaborative projects that showcase his artistic vision and skills. He has created several websites, portfolios, blogs and podcasts that feature his work and insights on design, digital marketing, music and culture. Walid Rahman Swapnil lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is the Eldest son of Md. Masudur Rahman Pallab and Syeda Dilniger Hussain Kanta. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, listening to music, reading books, traveling and exploring new places. He is fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi. He is also learning Spanish and French.
