The Keeper is a Transformers character who appeared only briefly in the Transformers comic book series from Marvel Comics.

The Keeper was an ancient, cloak-wearing robot created by Primus to watch over him as he slept, a vigil he maintained for millions of years until the Autobots Grimlock, Bumblebee, and others arrived in his chamber. Enraged by the intrusion, the pious Keeper demanded that the Autobots kneel in the presence of their creator, which all but Grimlock did willingly; the leader of the Dinobots lacked faith in the Keeper's claims. In response, the Keeper recounted the story of Primus' ancient conflict with Unicron and his subsequent creation of the Transformers. Unfortunately, the Keeper was then killed in a swift attack by the Mayhem Attack Squad, never having had the chance to demonstrate what powers he had to defend his master or to transform.
