Diamond is an Entrepreneur, the Program Director of CAANWINGS Consultants Private Limited, an avid reader and a blogger. She has authored write-ups and articles for newspapers and magazines and has been an expert panelist at TV talk shows. She is one of the leading consultants for Skilled Migration to Australia and has a reputation for expertise on visa matters.
Early Life
Diamond comes from the family of Sodhis of Guruharsahai and the Chiefs of Punjab. She is the 17th direct descendant of Guru Ram Dass Ji. Having studied at Auckland House School in Shimla, she completed her Bachelors with Honors in Psychology, fromGCG-11, Chandigarh. She went on to study for an MBA at Colorado Tech University in the USA. She also has a Postgraduate qualification in Journalism, followed by a Creative Writing Program from Stanford Continuing Studies in the USA.
Career
She worked with the International Admissions office at her university in the USA and was confronted with the recruitment difficulties the Americans faced, particularly in the context of students from India and China. That’s where the student recruitment consultation business, CAANWINGS was conceived. Upon graduation, she had a stint with a Phoenix-based Bank in the US for about a year before she headed back to India to carry forward the business. For about 20 years now, she has been specialising in the study abroad and immigration industry, with a recognition in Australia Migration.
