Jalal Salam Bin Amer is an Yemeni citizen, currently held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.[1] The US Department of Defense estimate he was born in 1973 in Al Muquala, Yemen.
As of August 4, 2011, Jalal Salam Awad Awad has been held at Guantanamo for nine years two months.[2]
