Abdel Qadir Hussein Al Mudhaffari is a citizen of Yemen, currently held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba.[1] His Guantanamo Internment Serial Number is 40. Joint Task Force Guantanamo counter-terrorism analysts estimate he was born in 1976 in Al Bayda', Yemen.

Abdel Qadir Hussein al Mudhaffari was captured near the Pakistan-Afghan border in December 2001. As of May 7, 2010, he has been held at Guantanamo for eight years four months.[2]

Background

American intelligence analysts assert Abdulqadir was one of Osama bin Laden's bodyguard. American intelligence analysts assert he was a weapon's trainer at al Qaeda's Al Farouq training camp.

Abdulqadir had a habeas corpus petition submitted on his behalf in 2005.
