Blood DX is a fictional character made by third-party Transformer company Headrobots in 2012. He is an homage the Generation 1 Decepticon Bludgeon.

Headrobots

In 2012 Headrobots created Blood DX, a head and set of accessories for Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Bludgeon.

Blood DX has no relation to the Transformers character name Blood.

Development

Headrobots first posted computer renderings of their Blood and Gyro heads to their web site in June 2010.

They posted prototype images of Blood and Gyro heads in July 2010.

Blood DX was previewed at the Third Party Panel at TFcon 2011.

In January 2012 Headrobots announced that Blood DX or Drone would be their bext release after Centurion.

In June 2012 Blood DX went up for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store.

Reception

The [email protected] podcast for June 29th, 2010 selected a picture of Blood DX as one of the New Picture Picks.

Comics

Blood DX is among the evil Headrobots who appeared in the story "Undercover!! The Great Drone Counteroffensive" by Headrobots. In this story the evil Headrobots discover a code which allows them to combined their source code, creating Blood DX. Blood DX attacks a heroic Headrobots prototype.
