Abhishek Anand
Abhishek Anand [1][2] is a Software Engineer from B.I.T, India with his roots back in the state of Jharkhand, where he was born and brought up and did his schooling. His interest in technology and desire to serve society has led him to build his career in Tech and teach his students about the online world.[3]
After completing his studies in Software Engineering with an Information Technology specialization, he got place in Infosys. Over the years, Abhishek Anand held multiple positions at Oracle, McAfee, Aruba, & Infosys, including the role of Software Architect and Managing team. After 12+ years of experience in the Technology field, Abhishek founded “Fresent LLC”, Fresent is a software product and services company, with SaaS products like Mutant Mail, KnowMySite, and Incises.com. Abhishek has also led an academic venture under the name Smart Banya, which has over 5000 students on Udemy. Abhishek Anand believes, "Entrepreneurship allows you to shape your destiny and direct yourself towards different paths and fields of expertise".[4]
Education
After finishing his higher secondary education, he dropped a year for Engineering preparations. Post that, he went to B.I.T. to pursue a Software Engineering degree with a specialization in Information Technology.
Personal Life
Abhishek was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in a Hindu Family. His father was in govt. service, and his mother a housewife. He grew up with his parents and sibling in Ranchi. Abhishek & Vandita married on December 03, 2020, and welcomed their son Aatish Anand. He resides in Bengaluru, India, and frequently visits his home in Ranchi.[5]
Professional
Abhishek started his career in 2010 with Infosys limited, and over the span of 4 years worked as Senior Systems Engineer. Post that, he worked at McAfee (Intel Security), where he was employed till 2016, with a designation as Senior Software Development Engineer. His career in McAfee leads to his extensive experience in the security domain. Abhishek joined Oracle in 2016 as a Principal software engineer and then again at Aruba in 2018 as Software Architect. Abhishek started his own academic course on Udemy in the year 2019, under the name Smart Banya, which grew to 5000+ students, while maintaining his full-time job. Finally, in the year 2021, he decided to venture into Entrepreneurship with his own company Fresent LLC.[6]
