Commander is a fictional character made by Mastermind Creations in 2010 as a third party Transformer. He is an homage to the 1984 Transformers Autobot Optimus Prime toy.

Mastermind Creations

Commander is based on concept art of Optimus Prime for the Hearts of Steel comic book series.

Commander is the leader of the Knight Morphers. He once went through a purging process to rid his ember of darkness. Another Knight Morpher named Ultra is the next in line to lead the Knight Morphers. The enemies of the Knight Morphers are Cyclops and the other Eliminators, as well as Ultra's evil clone Annhilator.[1]

Other third party Transformers inspired by Optimus Prime include iGear's Faith Leader, Junkion Blacksmith's Justice Leader and Xovergen's Grand Patriot.
