Darshan Babu was born to Om Praksh and Maya Devi in Sirsa, Haryana His original name is Darshan Kumar. Darshan’s family belongs to the Ravidassia Community . The family belongs to the Chamar Ravidassia community.He took his education from Chaudhary Devi Lal University,After completing his graduation in Arts,Darshan started his career as a leading Singer-end Lyrics.

Career
Darshan started singing devotional songs belonging to the Ambedkarites. His first song, Zindabaad (Fan Bhim De were devotional hymns. However, it was an ode to Babasaheb Ambedkar that got his fame. One of his first songs was 'Zindabaad', which was a tribute to Ambedkar, the architect of Indian constitution.This song went viral on YouTube. Darshan calls Babasaheb Ambedkar his inspiration and often writes songs about social oppression that people face owing to caste. To make sure his songs don't offend anyone, the lyrics of his songs are analyzed by a team consisting of his , Recently he focused himself on the music industry and become a verified artist on Youtube, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, Apple Music, Sound Cloud and so many other platforms. He released his first music video named "I Still Remember You" and his first Record label named "Darshan Babu" which contains five pieces of music.
