Zahra Ahmad
Zahra Ahmad is an Australian woman who was apprehended following the collapse of the terrority controlled by Daesh, otherwise known as the Islamic State.[1]
Ahmad's father, Mohammed Ahmad, claims he was a charity worker, trapped behind Daesh lines when he attended one of his son's weddings.[1] Her late husband was another Australian she married in Daesh territory, was Muhammad Zahab, a charismatic Australian, who security officials claimed lured dozens of fellow Australians to Daesh territory. Zahab is believed to have died in combat in 2018.
Little is known about her marriage to Zahab, when it occurred, or whether the pair had any children. Zahab's first wife, Mariam Raad, and her four children, were repatriated to Australia in late 2022.[1]
