Wiley Graydon IV

Wiley Karriem Graydon IV (born April 12, 1974)[1] is an American concert pianist, educator, mentor, entrepreneur,[2] music producer, freight broker, and shipping and supply chain consultant.[3][4][5][6] He is the founder of Executive Global Transportation Services, Inc.[7][5]

Early life and education

Graydon IV was born to Wiley Lee Graydon III and Mahasin H Majied in Albany, Georgia. He studied Chemical Engineering at Albany State University, Business Administration and Management at Darton College-Associate of Science, AS, and Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Music Pedagogy at Gordon University in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration at Gordon University in 1999. In 2005, he received his Ph.D. in Secondary Education and Educational Leadership from Gordon University.[1][8]

Career

In 1986, Graydon IV started his career as a Cadet Commander at the Civil Air Patrol, where he served till 1993. During this time, he worked as a violinist at the Albany Symphony Orchestra.

Between 1990 and 1994, he remained a Band Leader of the Unconditioned Response Jazz Band. In 1992, he became a Chemistry Laboratory Assistant at Albany State University[9], where he served till 1994. Later, he worked at Darton College Studio as an engineer for a year.

In 1994, Graydon IV became the President and CEO of Mustaqeem Graydon Conservatory of Music, Inc.[10][11][12][3] He was appointed the Principal at the Academy of Arts And Academics for four years. Other places where he served as a music director and teacher include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Quitman County Elementary School, Quitman County Middle School, and Quitman County School District. He also remained President and CEO of Winston Salem Conservatory of Music for a year.

In 2013, Graydon IV became the President and CEO at Wiley, Wilson, and Winthorpe, Inc. (2013-2016).[13][3]

Since 2008, Graydon IV has been the CEO of Executive Global Transportation Services, Inc., a private freight brokerage agency in Central Florida, he founded.[14][15][16][1][4][3][17]

Currently, he runs a Business Mentorship Program for business owners in different sectors, focusing on transportation.[14][1][5][8][18] He also gives piano performances for clients at private and political events.

Recognition

In 2022, Graydon was selected as one of the top 10 shipping services companies by Logistics and Transportation Review Magazine.[19]

Personal life

Graydon IV married Wilsonja Michele Graydon in 2000.
