Dr. I. Venugopal Reddy (born on 10/06/1983) is a Pediatrician with a career spanning 12 years, Reddy specializes in Pediatrics and Neonatology and is very passionate about ensuring high-quality care for patients.

Early Life and Education

Venugopal Reddy was born as the 7th child in a family of 8 children. His father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife. Venugopal Reddy attended Government schools in the Kadapa district. He used to walk for long distances every day in a place that did not have proper transport and basic facilities in place, even for small health emergencies they used to travel for long distances. Dr. Venugopal Reddy went to Kurnool Medical College for MBBS, Sydney University of Pediatric (Australia) for DCH, and Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK) for MRCPCH. He then attended Boston University and Columbia University for PGPN before attending Oxford University to study infectious disease training. Also, reddy became a Member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (MRACP) and got the comparability for FRACP (Australia)..[1]

Reddy boasts expertise in General Pediatrics, Neonatal Care, Intensive Care, Growth and Development, Allergies, Vaccination, Infectious Diseases, and Adolescent Medicine.[2]

Career

Dr. Reddy began his career as an intern in 2008 at Kurnool Medical College. In 2010, Reddy became a Resident in Paediatrics at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. In 2013, he joined Apollo Hospitals in Bangalore as the Paediatric registrar. During the same period, he worked as a part-time consultant pediatrician at the Sri Lakshmi Super Specialty Hospital in Bangalore. Between 2014 and 2017, Reddy moved to Srinivasa Specialty Hospital, Bangalore, India as a Part-Time Consultant Paediatrician and In Charge of Paediatrics.[1]

In 2017, Reddy started a new career at the Ovum Hospital as Medical Director and Consultant Paediatrician. Later he became one of the directors for Ovum Hospitals. Dr. Reddy has contributed much to social services like school health camps, free health checks, and free drug distribution to the needy.
