So what you are saying is you're gonna post on Wikipediasucks that I agree with removing Viet Namese Gambling Spam from WikiAlpha (and Wikipedia)? I think I can live with that. To be clear, I support Geo Swan and the rest. What they say goes. Glad we had this little chat. Be well. PhilippMichelReichold (talk) 08:03, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for the copy edit. Would you like to port some Wikipedia deletion candidates here? Search for a likely candidate, copy-paste the wikitext into an article here. Place a {{wp-cca}} template on top. Clean up the messy parts and save. Then go to the page history and copy paste that to the talk page. Clean up the messy parts and save. It's easy! It's fun! If you need help, I can try. Best, PhilippMichelReichold (talk) 03:24, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

Free advice! Before you log in, pray the Holy Rosary, asking the Blessed Virgin to give you calmness of spirit. Then find a nice (or not so nice) article to port over from Wikipedia. Best PhilippMichelReichold (talk) 18:18, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
HYPOCRITE!

BadWikiID

I suspect the reasons another administrator blocked this ID include Template:BadWikiID. I would have blocked you for Template:BadWikiID, and for breaches of civility ... Geo Swan (talk) 18:11, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

You can be blocked for creating a Bad Wiki-ID

Every contributor here is expected to treat other contributors politely.

The Wiki-ID you just created is problematic. It implies you may not behave politely, because:

  1. It is a misleading name, very similar to a previous name.
    1. Don't pick a new name very similar to one of your previous names! If your previous ID was blocked, you can still edit your User talk: page. Explain there why you think your previous name should be unblocked. If an administrator thinks you are trying to evade your block they won't hesitate to block the new similar ID
    2. Don't pick a new name very similar to one of your previous names because you forgot your password. Create a new ID that is dissimilar to your previous ID, that no one suspects bad faith. Explicitly state your previous history on your new User: page, explicitly stating your previous ID, so no one suspects bad faith.
    3. Don't pick an ID similar to the previous or existing name of your frenemy, or actual enemy. Doing so implies you are trying to confuse people.
  2. Don't create a Wiki-ID similar to a famous person. Don't create a Wiki-ID like User:Jimbo Wales, which I recently blocked.
  3. Don't create Wiki-IDs that are likely to be read as offensive. No swear words.
  • Also, avoid Wiki-IDs like User:Promoting ABC Company, it implies you plan to SPAM. Wikialpha rules allow an article on ABC Company, but it has to be an actual article, something recognizably like an attempt at something like a wikipedia article. It can't look like a press release from ABC Company. It can't be a simple list of unrelated facts about ABC Company.

This should all be common sense.

If your current Wiki-ID was blocked, due to a bad-name, do not try to evade the block. Ping the administrator who blocked you, on your User talk: page.

But when you are asked to defend somebody's work and their time, where are you geo SWan and other pathetic administrators?
