The Wings Guy is a 2022 American short film directed by Trent Falco and written by Jeeya Ballaney and Yulian Mateo. It is based on the life of world-renowned Indian American Chef and Restauranteur Deepak Ballaney and stars Deepak Ballaney, Ami Shah, Jeeya Ballaney, Elijah Gravely, Ryan Harrington, Susan Mino and more. The film is a window into the struggles of Chef Deepak, his team at IWF and his Family as they go through the height of Covid almost losing everything. Shot primarily on the Upper East Side where International Wings Factory is headquartered and at location of Chef Deepak’s home. Plot
At the height of success Chef Deepak Ballaney was on a roll. Working to open three new International Wings Factory locations in three different states he thought he had achieved his dream but then Covid-19 happened. This is a story about passion, gratitude, family and survival. As Chef puts everything on the line to fight the invisible enemy the unexpected happens.
(Film follows Chef Deepak and his crew as they struggle to keep the International Wings Factory open. The many obstacles they face brings them together to only test their bond and their place of work.)
