I cut this to a stub due to copyright issues

Someone ported the wikipedia article on Urdu here. Porting wikipedia articles to wikialpha is allowed, provided:

1. The article has a {{wp-cca}} template at the top. This tells readers the content is under the usual wikipedia licensing, not wikialpha's usual public domain.
2. The names of the contributors to the wikipedia version have to be listed on the talk page. A failure to do this means the article is a copyright violation, and subject to speedy deletion.
3. Wikialpha supports a healthy subset of wikipedia's core templates. But passages that use templates not supported here should either be rewritten so they don't use those templates, or they should be trimmed out.

I didn't delete this article. I cut it to a stub. Anyone who worked on the wikipedia version is free to paste back in the passages they wrote. Make sure you use an edit summary that says that is what you are doing.

Do not restore the wikipedia version, without attending to the 3 points above. Note: over 3,000 unique contributors edited the wikipedia version, and they would all have to be listed on Talk:Urdo. Geo Swan (talk) 09:12, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
