Sylvie LeBlanc is an archaeologist from Carleton University.[1][2]

LeBlanc has studied Inuit and Dorset history in both Newfoundland and Labrador and Nunavut.[3][4][5][6][7][8] LeBlanc has challendged the owner's of the Baffinland Iron Mine, as its railway will parallel a 6 kilometer chain of inuksuk on Baffin Island.
