Star Kashman (born 1998) is an American law student and AI and Cyber Law Expert. She gained recognition for her expertise in cybersecurity law and AI ethics as cited in several reputable sources such as MSN.com, Yahoo News, and Lifewire.[1] She has published legal research on the legality and dangers of Search Engine Hacking (a/k/a "Google Hacking") and contributed to scholarly articles on the matter in reputable journals.[2]

Early life and education

Kashman attended school in Roslyn, New York, and later in Binghamton, New York.[3] She pursued her passion for technology and cybersecurity law, conducting research at Brooklyn Law School where she explored the legal implications of Search Engine Hacking (Google Dorking).[4]

Career

Kashman's research led to the publication of the article "Google Dorking or Legal Hacking: From The CIA Compromise to Your Cameras at Home, We Are Not as Safe as We Think" in the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts.[4] She highlighted the legalities and issues of this computer crime technique and called for legislative reform to address the challenges it poses.[5] Kashman's expertise has been acknowledged in various forums, including the New York County Lawyers Association CLE Program event.[6] and the Women of Legal Tech Summit for the American Bar Association.
