Sondra Weiner was a sibling to swindler Bernie Madoff.[1][2]

On February 17, 2022, the bodies of her and her husband, Marvin Wiener, were found in their home, shot.[2] Police believe it was a murder suicide.[1]

The Weiner's lost millions when the Madoff Ponzi scheme collapsed, and are believed to have been victims, not conspirators.[2]
