Sohaib Farooq Bajwa is a multi-talented journalist, filmmaker, and educator from Pakistan. With over 14 years of experience in the news industry, Sohaib has worked with some of the best TV stations in the country, as a HOD (Head of department Post Production) including 24 News HD, City 42, UK 44 currently working as an Associate Producer at Hum News which is one of the top 3 news channels in Pakistan.
Sohaib has also gained recognition for his work as a documentary filmmaker. He directed a short documentary film titled Mere Safar ka Humsafar and was the runner-up of My Suzuki, My Story Season 3, for which he and his friend won a Suzuki Alto. Sohaib is also the director of a short story film titled Abdur Rehman ka Pakistan for Dawn News. Dawn News is Pakistan's largest English newspaper and tv channel, and he has also worked with the German international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle DW.
As a journalist and Producer, Sohaib has had the opportunity to meet with prominent political personalities, News Anchors, singers, and Cricketers Even including the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan, and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood. He was also a guest lecturer at Kinnaird College for Women University, where he conducted a workshop on the basics of documentary making.
In addition to his work in the news industry, Sohaib is also a passionate educator who has taught many students who now work in various news channels in Pakistan. He has received numerous testimonials from his students praising his dedication and teaching skills.
Sohaib has also made a name for himself in the music and nonprofit industries. He has worked with the international music artist Mugg Man on his music video My Town ft. Jon Glenn, handling the post-production. Sohaib has also worked with Good Thinkers Organization (GTO) as a post-production specialist on their documentary titled Inclusion of transgender persons in response of society and state to COVID-19 in Punjab-Pakistan. GTO is an advocacy and development NGO working in the Province of Punjab-Pakistan since 2003.
Sohaib is also a successful freelancer and entrepreneur. He is the Co-founder of socialagencypro, a social media marketing agency that offers services such as Facebook growth, YouTube channel growth, Instagram account growth, Snapchat, TikTok, web development, video editing, and graphic design services.
