Sassy Jones is a Richmond-based[1] online fashion and lifestyle accessory brand[2][3] offering style solutions for women. It features a range of exclusively hand-crafted apparel, accessories, and cosmetics.

Overview

Sassy Jones offers a variety of style solutions using a one-stop-shop approach that gives customers a sense of convenience. It is known for its signature troho (boho chic with a tribal flair) aesthetic, bright colors, and bold prints.[4] The brand retails hand-designed jewelry, handbags, accessories,[5] a makeup line,[4] and a ready-to-wear apparel line.[1]

Sassy Jones hosts Sparkle parties, a weekly live session on Wednesday nights to showcase and sell its products.[6] It also partners with Home Shopping Network (HSN) for The Big Find – Sassy Jones Accessories to design accessories for everyday women and sell them on TV and online.[7]

History

Sassy Jones was founded in 2013[2][8][9] by Charis Jones,[2][3] who started the brand with home parties and friend get-togethers to shop unique handmade jewelry in her home kitchen.[2]

In 2015, she evolved the brand from home parties and began in a minivan, driving over 15,000 miles from her trade shows in her first year. Later, the brand expanded to operate online by going live on social media and hosting its first-ever Sparkle Party.

In 2018, Sassy Jones launched a beauty line, and in 2019, it launched its handbags and scarves.[10]

By 2020, the company had recorded revenue growth of 4,515%.[1]

In July 2021, Sassy Jones introduced its ready-to-wear clothing line.[10][11]
