Sarbajit Ghosh is a Producer, Writer, Author, Singer, Music Director, Composer, Lyricist, Musician, Model, Actor & Director hailing from the city of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), capital of the province of West Bengal, in India. He is a Post Graduate in Business Administration & done his Graduation in both Arts (English) & in Science from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, as well as schooling from St. Xavier's Collegiate School, Kolkata. Notably, he was awarded for "Outstanding Achievement in English Literature & Excellence in Creative Writing" by the English Academy of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He was also the sub-editor of the "We Xaverian" magazine of St. Xavier's College Calcutta Alumni Association (SXCCAA).

Popularly known as Joe, he came into lime-light with his book "Without You...A Dark Saga of Loving Pain" in 2011, which he wrote out of the emotional trauma he faced due to his break-up from a serious relationship. It is said that the book & its characters are based on real time use real names & circumstances & exploring various phases of his love life. The book was published by Sparrow Publication, & although it was under-rated due to poor publicity by the publisher, it was critically acclaimed gathering quite a number of readers & followers, especially among young adults. The book was promoted widely in the Kolkata International Book Fair by the management students of the Heritage Academy, as well as media personalities such as Actress Oindrila Sen, RJ Jimmy Tangree, RJ Praveen, RJ Vineet, Minister Baishwanor Chatterjee, Sister Christine (Principal, Loreto College), & many others. Sarbajit, still not satisfied, formed the famous bengali alternative band Insomniac-Z, with himself being the Lead Vocalist, Music Composer & Lyricist for all the songs of their debut studio album of the same name as their band. He was accompanied by Arunit Basu as Backing Vocalist, Susmit Guchhait as Assistant Vocalist, Ranodeep Mukherjee as Keyboard player, Sayan Sinha Roy (Guest Member) as Guitarist, & DJ Defron Dvl who remixed the songs. The music album was released by the Record Label Raga Music, & it became quite popular & sold more than 5000 copies of CDs from stores like Music World, M3, Melody, Symphony, etc, in the age where music CDs were slowly phasing out, making way for digital content. Notably, songs such as Aami Boro Eka, Tumi Je Amar (Bengali Cover of Michael Jackson's Give In To Me) & Nabanita Tumi Kothay gained widespread popularity, with "Aami Boro Eka" gaining a cult following & the title of the song becoming a catch-phrase of Sarbajit & among his fans. Aami Boro Eka was adapted in the form of a music video in which Sarbajit played dual roles of Man as well as God, & the actress was played by corporate executive Arijita Bhattacharjee (Urmi). This debut album was released in the St. Xaviers College Auditorium by Legendary footballer Subrata Bhattacharjee, also father of actor Saheb Bhattacharjee, & also accompanied by a video message of Agnimitra Paul, famous fashion designer.

Sarbajit briefly anchored an online talk-show named Jamming With Joe which was streamed on campuscaperz & ran for One Season, in which he interviewed celebrities such as RJ Jimmy, Bickram Ghosh, Rituparna Sengupta, to name a few.

Following the success of the album, Sarbajit did quite a number of stage shows, both corporate as well as open stage, & school/college socials, & shared stage with celebrity singers & legends such as Kavita Krishnamurthy, Nirmala Misra, Banasree Sengupta, Saikat Mitra, Arati Mukherjee, Gitasree Sandhya Mukherjee, Bappi Lahiri, Babul Supriyo, etc, to name a few. His performance of Subha Hone Na De at Panihati Utsav in 2014 was widely acclaimed by a crowd of nearly 300,000 people.

Sarbajit released his next Studio album titled "My Love" in 2013, & this album was a greater hit with the title song of the album O My Love becoming the Love Anthem of the year. The album consisted of 7 songs & was released by the famous Bollywood record label Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd., & it featured hit songs like O My Love, Baby I Love You (Bengali Version of La Bamba), Dujoney, & Saheli - O My Shree, with the latter being rumored to be named after his girlfriend with whom he had recent break-up. Sarbajit's songs were hailed due to their sweet melody & the lucidity of lyrics & use of colloquial language.

Simultaneously, Sarbajit formed his own production house SRL Motion Pictures Entertainment which focused on music production & music albums featuring Celebrity & Star Singers, as well as producing commercial yearly fashion calendars featuring both fresher as well as experienced models, & also producing advertisement shoots, banners & hoardings of various commercial brands & products. Notable among these are advertisement shoots of Bongo Garments, Swagath Furniture, & the SRL Calendar.

In 2016, the movie Shaheb Bibi Golaam was released by Friends Communication, Produced by Firdausul Hasan & Probal Halder, & Sarbajit was also one of their Associate Producers for this Film. Similarly, Sarbajit was also involved in the movie Mayurakshi in 2017, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee & Soumitro Chattopadhyay.

Sarbajit featured every year as a model in the February month of the calendar, catering to the Valentine's theme, with the most beautiful model of the calendar of that year as his co-model. His costume in the November month of SRL Calendar 2018 was designed exclusively by famous fashion designer Agnimitra Paul, & was supposedly the most expensive male costume in that year. Notably, actress Sohini Guha Roy, lead actress of the mega serials Mayurpankhi & Gangaram of Star Jalsha channel, featured with Sarbajit in a couple shoot in the February month of SRL Calendar 2020. Sarbajit Ghosh has himself modeled for Órly Fashions, Agnimitra Paul & Bongo Garments.

Sarbajit & his production house SRL Motion Pictures produced a Legendary music album titled Monn, in end of 2018, released by Amara Muzik, which featured National Award Winning Celebrity singers who sang duets with him. There were 6 songs in the album, all written & composed by Sarbajit, & the singers were Anupam Roy, Akriti Kakar, Rupankar Bagchi, Iman Chakraborty & newcomer singer Payel Dey. 5 of the songs were duets with Sarbajit & one was his solo. This was the first time that all these singers came together in a single music album, & till date Monn is considered the to be the only official non-filmy Tollywood music album. Each & every song of the album Monn was adapted in the form separate music videos, featuring 12 actors/models, in all, some of whom were renowned, whereas others being freshers. The videos are known for their commercial nature, bearing likeness to contemporary Tollywood commercial movie songs, in high quality.

Also, Sarbajit awarded the SRL Award to various personalities such as Composer of the Decade to Anupam Roy, Vocalist of the Decade to Rupankar Bagchi, Most Beautiful Tele-Heroine to Sohini Guha Roy, & Lifetime Achievement Award to Shri Sujay Kumar Chanda, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police. Wow Momo, co-founded by Sarbajit's childhood friend Binod Kr. Homagai, has constantly remained as Food Partner in most of his events, with Binod himself being a Guest of Honour in one of the events.

The song Kal Bhor Hobey from Monn, sung by Rupankar Bagchi & Sarbajit Ghosh, & written, composed & produced by Sarbajit Ghosh, was ranked #9 in the 91.9 Friends F.M Bengali Chartbusters list after its release, as featured in Telegraph T2. His song Bhulbona, duet with Anupam Roy, was another trending chart-buster in JioSaavn & Gaana apps.

Sarbajit has also been the music director, lyricist & playback singer of the bengali movie Ooh Myy Love (named after the title song of his album My Love).

Just prior to the Covid lockdown in the year 2020, Sarbajit started the work of his next music album titled Morubhumi which contains 5 songs, including that of some celebrities with him, along with some of his solos. The album will be released from Zee Music, & one of his solo songs named Andhakar Seshey Aalo, released on his birthday on 4th of May, & was received positively. But owing to lockdown the remaining songs of the project were temporarily held back.

After the lockdown was withdrawn, Sarbajit started the production of his SRL Calendar 2021, in which this time renowned actress Moubani Sorcar featured with him in the February month page. Moubani Sorcar is also the daughter of world famous magician P.C.Sorcar Jr. This calendar was praised widely after its release in January 2021 & many renowned press media gave coverage. Following the success of the release of the SRL Calendar 2021, Sarbajit also produced & released the SRL Bengali Calendar on the occasion of the Bengali New Year, in association with the famous production house Friends Communication, headed by Firdausul Hasan, the President of the Film Federation of India. The calendar featured renowned bollywood actress Mumtaz Sorcar along with Sarbajit himself.

Sarbajit produced a Revolutionary Rabindra-Sangeet musical film named Robir Kironey Sarbajit O Bondhura, which comprised of 5 Tagore songs, out of which 2 were sung by Sarbajit himself, while the other 3 were sung by IPS Officer Shri Sujay Kr. Chanda, Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police; Dr. Madhumita Saha, & Smt. Lakme Ghosh. This musical film & all its songs were released by Zee Music Bangla in January 2022, & the all the songs were re-created by Sarbajit Ghosh & Directed by him. Actress & RJ Moubani Sorcar also featured along with Sarbajit in one of the songs. The 2 songs sung by Sarbajit himself, named Adheko Ghume & Tomar Holo Shuru created a buzz in the netizen community & were both praised as well as criticized as this was the first time in the history of Tagore songs that they were re-made in a modern EDM Avatar and 90s Disco style, respectively. People could relate Adheko Ghume's music arrangement style with that of Guru Randhawa, & Tomar Holo Shuru's style with that of Bappi Lahiri songs. Also, the song Rimjhim Ghono Ghono Re from this same album had a music arrangement similar to that of the remix song Kaliyon Ka Chaman. All these feats were a first in the genre of Rabindra Sangeet.

Sarbajit released the SRL WoW Calendar 2022, which featured various models along with television serial actress Arkoja Acharya who featured with Sarbajit as his co-model in the August month page of the calendar. Sarbajit also was one of the assistant producers of the movie Aparajito along with Firdausul Hasan & Probal Halder in the year 2022 & the movie was a super hit.

Sarbajit also produced the SRL WoW Friends Calendar 2023 in association with WoW Momo & Friends Communication, in which he featured on the opening page with famous mega serial actress Nisha Poddar, who has played lead roles in various serials of channels like Sun Bangla, Zee Bangla, Star Jalsha, Colors Bangla, etc.

Sarbajit is also a succesful Music Producer & Film Director for other singers, & has produced & directed songs like Mukto Dheke (2019) sung by young talent Pramith Ganguly whom he gave a platform, & got the song released from Zee Music; Kon Patay (2022) once again sung by Pramith & released by HMV SaReGaMa; and the Bollywood song Aisa Lagey sung by Sanjeeb Bhattacharya & released by Shemaroo Entertainment.

In 2023, Sarbajit composed and sang the title song of the tollywood film Shesh Pata starring Prosenjit Chatterjee in lead role. This song was Sarbajit's tribute to Prosenjit Chatterjee which the celebrity actor himself acknowledged and shared in his social media.

Also, in 2023 Sarbajit made an official bengali-english version of Jamaica Farewell as made famous by Harry Belafonte as tribute to him on his death.

Notably, Sarbajit introduced Actress Sohini Guha Roy, aka Tisham (mega serial Mayurpankhi & Tayra (mega serial Gangaram), as a Playback singer in the song Aami Boro Eka Version 2022, which is both Written & Composed by him. This song has been sung as a Duet by Sohini & Sarbajit.
