Early Life
Sahil Sanjan Chowdhury, more renowned as Sahil Sanjan (born in 12th November, 2003) is a Bangladeshi based Singer, Songwriter, Producer/ Composer. Sahil Sanjan rose to considerable popularity through his covers on YouTube which he started in 2017, for the first 3 years of the journey he mostly made covers in English, albeit he changed his type of songs with time, he never lost his consistency of uploading weekly videos. His hard-working nature led to him working with Legendary musicians like Fuad Almuqtadir and Habib Wahid
alongside these works, he has other popular covers such as "Shorolotar Protima" by 'Khalid', "Amar Dehokhan" by 'Odd Signature' which have millions of views across the social media platforms.
At present Sahil Sanjan has almost 300000 followers/ Subscribers! For most of his YouTube career, his very good friend from school, Ibnul Aftab helped him by providing the backing tracks for the covers. Sahil went to Presidency International School and is now looking to complete his law degree from University of London.
He comes from a family with a very cultural mindset with everyone involved with music. His father, "Humayun Chowdhury" is a professional lyricist,
His mother Nelofar (Daisy Chowdhury) is the one for whom Sahil sings today as she made him start singing by teaching him the basics. He did take classical training from Ustaad Shahid-ullah Kaiser for few years afterwards though. His brother is also an extremely talented singer who is a multi-instrumentalist. Sahil Sanjan is mainly known his singing style, vocal control and versatility, he is able to sing different genres starting from Western Pop to Indian Classical to Ballads to many more.
His distinctive features are his vocal runs on Western songs as he often likes to play and experiment his vocal articulations on different genres. Not only can he capture people's emotions by his soft vocal texture but he can also play the guitar, keyboard and the harmonium.
