Prattay Barua is a popular Vocal Artist of this generation from Bangladesh.Prattay Barua was born in the Chittagong district of Bangladesh. Fortunate to have born in a musical family, he started training in Indian classical music from the tender age of six from his mother Shelly Barua & father Ustad Prakash barua (An eminent artist & music director at Bangladesh Television & Bangladesh Radio) since an early age.At present he is under training of Shree Anol Chatterjee an eminent artist of “Akashbani Kolkata”and “Durodorshon Kolkata"and also the senior instructor of “SHRUTINANDAN",Kolkata,India.
Prattay has earned his graduation in Electrical & Electronic Engineering(EEE) and post-graduation in Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Prattay has been an enlisted regular Vocal artist of Bangladesh Television & Bangladesh Radio as Classical Music, Modern Song & Nazrul Sangeet artist.He also an enlisted Composer & Music director in Bangladesh Betar.He also performed at different private Tv channels of Bangladesh.
He loves to sing Classical music, Semi Classical Songs, Nazrulgeeti, Tagore's songs, Filmy Songs, Bangla modern songs, Ghazals, Bhajan etc
