The NACC Argonaut is freighter, currently employed in carrying raw cement to ports on the Great Lakes.

She was built for salt-water service, in 2003, and was adapted into a dedicated cement carrier, in 2017, when she was acquired by a consortium of Nova Marine Holdings and Algoma Central.[1][2] Her prefix, "NACC", is short for Nova Algoma Cement Carrier, and is shared by fleetmates NACC Alicudi, NACC Capri and NACC Quebec.

Operational career

She was the first vessel to transit the Welland Canal, in 2021.[3][4]
