Mahbubur Rahman
Mahbubur Rahman is a versatile Bangladeshi music composer who has created works across a wide variety of genres, including film score, classical, ambient, pop, EDM, and lo-fi. He began his musical career in his teens and has since become known for his ability to create emotive, atmospheric music that resonates with listeners.
Rahman has created music under several aliases. As "Chanchal Rosensohn", he focuses on singing and composing pop music with a more mainstream appeal. His pop compositions often incorporate elements of EDM, creating a unique fusion sound that has gained him a following in his home country and beyond.
Rahman is also the founder of several music projects. In early 2022, he established the Symphony Orchestra and film score-focused project called "Søkte," which has since gained a reputation for its cinematic soundscapes and evocative compositions. In the same year, he founded "Pianississimo," a project that explores the softer side of the musical spectrum and showcases Rahman's skills as a composer of gentle, contemplative pieces.
In 2023, Rahman established "Mega-Club-Onya", an electronic dance music project that focuses on house and deep house. With this project, Rahman explores a more upbeat, energetic sound, incorporating elements of techno, disco, and funk to create a dynamic and engaging listening experience.
