Leslie Slip is a slip that was once used to service the industrial enterprises that were once located on Toronto's Portlands. In the late 20th century and early 21st century, most of the traditional industries relocated. It is oriented roughly east-west, opening onto Toronto's turning basin.

Real estate analysts have described the Portlands as North America largest brownfield, close to its downtown, ripe for redevelopment. Efforts to gentrify and redevelop the northwest corner of the Portlands started in 2017.

A second mouth for the Don River will create an artificial island, Villiers Island.

Leslie Slip is located in the Portlands' south-east corner. It is near the iconic former Hearn Generating Plant, which is also being gentrified and redeveloped.

In 2021 City council announced plans to redevelop the land around the slip into the Leslie Slip Outlook Park.
