Biography

Alayi MacPepple – Jaja (born January 10, 1993), known professionally as Jaja Morph is a British rapper and songwriter. He is an emerging artist in the hip hop and rap genre. [1]

Early life and education

Alayi MacPepple – Jaja was born on January 10, 1993, in Leytonstone, East London. His mother is of Jamaican, Chinese, and Scottish descent and his father is Nigerian. He was raised in Sutton and then Reading. His parents came from a creative and musical background which eventually inspired him as a child to get into music. He moved away at a young age to south Greater London where he attended secondary school. He completed his high school from Overton Grange. He started experimenting with rap music and also became a dj, which eventually helped him record his earlier material. To pursue his rap career, he moved to Reading, Berkshire in his early 20’s. Career

Morph started his career in 2020 where he first appeared on his debut single called ‘Ackee Freestyle’ which was produced by Fixxer. Morph later went on to release EP tracks in his album ‘Manifest’ in January 2021. [2]
