Hans Hartleben (born November 6, 1975) is an entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast. He is the founder and CEO of FIRE Fitness Camp,[1] one of the largest group fitness franchises in Wisconsin with 24 locations and over 4000 active clients. His metabolic resistance training system has yielded incredible results for all demographics in Wisconsin.[2]

Early life

Hartleben was born in Waupaca, Wisconsin. His early childhood consisted of country living growing up in Scandinavia, WI, a town of 209 people.[3] He has two younger sisters Brit and Allie.[4] He developed an interest in sports at an early age carrying the passion through into high school and college. He played guard in basketball, was the starting quarterback, and earned all-conference as a pitcher.[5]

Career

Fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur

Hartleben is a Waupaca native who worked as a club manager at Anytime Fitness where he developed a CMRT system that helped his clients physically and emotionally. Later, he started his HammerFit training program at a deserted restaurant facility, with a few basic tools. Within the first month, his program became popular and there was no space left to accommodate more clients. This achievement led him to create a new hybrid training system called F.I.R.E. (Functional Intensive Resistance Exercise).[6] This program features his trademarked Marvelous Motivation® system. He started FIRE Fitness Camp in Plover, WI, in 2014,[7] which grew to become the largest and fastest-growing boot camp style franchise with twenty-three other franchise locations in Wisconsin and one facility in Minnesota since it began franchising in 2019.[8][9][10]

Producer

Hartleben has been involved in numerous large-scale television and film productions including C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation, Dr. Phil (CBS), and What Happens in Vegas.[11] He regularly appeared on several shows, including NBC’s Deal or No Deal,[12] where he won $44,000 and a pony for his daughter, Let's Ask America, and many other commercials.[13] Charter Media was awarded Commercial of the Month. Hartleben has been featured twice in Globe Magazine.

Hartleben is the host of a podcast, MR 715 Show,[14] which he started in 2017.[15]
