Grimstone (Transformers)

Grimstone is a the name of two fictional characters from the Transformers series. The first is an Autobot Power Core Combiner who turns into a robotic Styracosaurus and commands 4 Dinobot drones. Where Power Core Combiners fits in Transformers fiction is vague, although it has some connections with the 2007 live action Transformer movie series.

Grimstone is the first Power Core Combiner to use animal forms instead of vehicles as his team members.
Reception
The [email protected] podcast for September 9th, 2010 selected a picture of Grimstone as one of the New Picture Picks.[1]
Fictional biography
Grimstone has always dreamed of power and the privilege it brings. Despite his hunger for power, however, he has always considered the needs of others before himself. He believes it is the responsibility of the powerful to protect those less fortunate - a belief he intends to aggressively enforce now that he has his own Power Core team.

Transformers: Kre-O
In the Transformers: Kre-O line, Grimstone appears as a combiner made from Mollox, Crackback, Ironeye, and Iquanox.
