Background and Experience

Before becoming a FocalPoint Business Leadership Coach, Johnson spent years building and managing complex business operations across various industries. He has a track record of offering progressive general management skills built on leadership success within financial, operational, and sales capacities.

As a General Manager at Custom Steelcraft, a small privately-held custom metal fabrication business, Johnson was responsible for the entirety of sales, customer service, and operations, including P&L responsibility. Prior to Custom Steelcraft, Johnson worked with Kitchen Refresh, a custom construction company specializing in residential remodeling, as a General Manager. He managed operations, project management, planning, and budgeting for this franchise and implemented a master project tracking system and revised the hiring process to adjust the workforce to customer demands.

Johnson spent nearly twenty years in sales and marketing, operations, and back-end functions (including finance, human resources, and information technology) for a large industrial equipment manufacture.
