History
Goldmark Oakham occupies a special place in the world of handcrafted jewelry.[1] The company was founded in 1947, in the magnificent city of Paris by D. Corneone Goldmark Oakham. As an independent company, Goldmark Oakham has consistently proven itself to be a successful brand in the field of high-end jewelry. Goldmark Oakham is one of the few remaining independent companies to succeed in the jewelry industry, with creations using the mechanics of movement that make the jewelry one-of-a-kind. [2][3][4]
Story
A 75-years journey with a deep passion for jewelry design, the story begins with D. Corneone Goldmark Oakham-the founder. In 1947, he decided to move from England to Paris, France to establish a career.[3] Right from the start, Goldmark Oakham knew exactly what the company needed to do. According to him, jewelry is inherently beautiful, but also easy to get bored, so Goldmark Oakham invested in developing mechanical movements and applied them to jewelry making. As a result, his creations stand out from other jewelry manufacturers and the quality of Goldmark Oakham's craftsmanship is guaranteed to be of the highest standard.
After a period of development in France, Goldmark Oakham ventured back to England, where the royal family was impressed with his creations. In the 1990s, Goldmark Oakham and his descendants focused on developing and creating diamonds by technology methods. An audacity that has given Goldmark Oakham a new vision of ethical luxury.[4]
Recent Development
1947: Goldmark Oakham first appeared in Paris, the beautiful city of France with extremely unique jewelry models.
1990: Goldmark Oakham and his descendants return to England to serve in jewelry making, mechanical movements research and design thinking. This is also the place where Goldmark Oakham began to introduce his jewelry to the royal family.
From 1990 - 1997: Goldmark Oakham expanded the market in Europe and Asia. Distribution cooperation in Milan, Italy as well as Hong Kong and Japan. The image of the lotus flower was the first inspiration for artists, ideas from the pure oriental flower began to appear in their designs.[5]
2000: Goldmark Oakham held a meeting to change the strategic vision of diamonds used in jewelry making.[1]
2001: The design "The goose that lays the diamond egg" was born and is also a gift from Goldmark Oakham with the policy of giving diamonds every year, lasting up to 12 years. [6][7]
2017: Announced Mini Earth factory and technology, marking the scientific and technical development of Goldmark Oakham in diamond production and diamond processing.[8]
2019: The Pendulum Clock Pendant Collection, and Cheetah inspiration, was born. The design is quite similar to the Panther line of Cartier, but there are comparisons that Goldmark Oakham has beaten Cartier on their own home turf.
2020: The brand announced that it will completely replace diamonds with Goldmark Oakham's humanitarian diamonds in all collections. In addition, revealing a new orientation on soul diamond.
2021: Born the Soul Diamond, a one-of-a-kind carbon-containing diamond from those we love, based on the will of Goldmark Oakham founder.[9]
Recently, Goldmark Oakham celebrated the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Mini Earth factory. The process of making a Soul diamond is a combination of state-of-the-art technology and meticulous craftsmanship, a blend of soul and diamond.[10][11]
2022: Reinventing the unique design thinking from the white lotus, the Flying Lotus luxury jewelry collection – one of the creations favored by the elite in the 2000s.[12]
Sourcing
In 2019, all diamonds used in the production will be made in a laboratory, by scientific and technical developments. The diamonds created by Goldmark Oakham are of high quality, and are strictly managed according to the standards of the American Institute of Gemology. The company wants to create a high-end jewelry brand that is still environmentally friendly, developing nature and future generations of mankind.
Goldmark Oakham is actively developing and has recently introduced the unique Soul Diamond, using a technology that develops ashes into cremation diamonds containing DNA elements.[13]

- Flying Lotus (2000)
Flying Lotus Bespoke Jewelry, which first launched in 2000, when the brand expanded into Asia, where the lotus became a symbol of purity. The Flying Lotus is designed to create a mechanical movement that opens and closes to embrace the central diamond. Set with 478 black diamonds embodying the power of pride, the artist sketches and accentuates petal details that are both gentle and tough. It took more than 340 hours of work to create the unique details.[5][12]
- The Goose That Laid The Diamond Eggs
The Goose That Laid The Diamond Eggs is a Goldmark Oakham creation in a limited edition of only 10 pieces, with 79 round brilliant colorless diamonds, 9 blue sapphires, 9 pear-shaped blue sapphires and elliptical blue soul diamond center stone.[6][14][15]
- Flying Lotus 2022
Inheriting from the design launched in 2000, the Flying Lotus version reflects a Lotus Calyx rising into the air. The lotus calyx is made of solid gold and is set with more than 6.80 carats of diamonds. The special construction enables smooth opening and closing movements meticulously crafted by skilled jewelers.[16]
- Soul Diamond
The soul diamond are made from carbon extracted from cremation ashes or hair. After the hair and cremation ashes are purified, they are placed in the synthesis environment. The precisely controlled chamber turns ashes into diamonds by recreating the natural conditions for diamond growth. Each cremation diamond is naturally grown and truly unique.[17][18][19]
