Gaurav Goswami, is a martial art Coach by passion and hospitality personnel by profession. He is also a FIT India Ambassador of FIT India Movement of Government of India.He is specialized in martial arts like Kickboxing,Taekwondo and Karate.
As a hospitality personnel, Gaurav Goswami has started his career in Hotels in the year 2008 from ITC Sonar followed by the oldest five star Hotel in Kolkata- Hotel Hindusthan International. Then in due course of time he has been into Organizations like - Panchwati Holidays, Madhuban Hotels( Dehradun), Pipal Tree Hotel, Aquatica Water Park and Resorts,The Xen Suites, Brio Hotels and at the moment he has taken the responsibility of Four Square Hotels as a Group General Manager. He has also worked as an auditor of Hotel Management Institute in City n Guild (UK). He holds strong ground in the business development, Revenue Management, Hotel Operations and Administration.
As a Martial Art Coach, Gaurav Goswami holds a 4th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate,3rd Dan International Black Belt in Taekwondo (Kukkiwon) and a 3rd Dan Black Belt in
Kickboxing (WAKO India). Gaurav Goswami also has been trained in Martial Arts like Aikido and Judo under International Grandmasters. Gaurav Goswami is a certified Kickboxing Coach and an International Referee of World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) and a strong foundation member of Bengal Kickboxing- WAKO Bengal. He has introduce a new self-defensee program at many places in West Bengal under the brand of - The Combat Strategy. He has also completed the Community Coaching Program by SAI - LNPCE and has passed Coach Education Program (Taekwondo)by Sports Authority of India. He also runs one of the famous martial art school in Hooghly District in the name of - Traditional School of Martial Arts- TSMA India which imparts training of martial arts like Kickboxing, Boxing, Taekwondo, and Karate.
Early Life and Education
Gaurav Goswami is born on 09th January 1985 in West Bengal(India) and completed his early education at Don Bosco School, Bandel ( Class 10) and Bandel
Vidya Mandir (Class 12).Then he has completed his Honours in English from Uttarpara College (under Calcutta University)in the year 2007. Then he completed his Masters in Hotel Management, PGDP in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare, PGDP in Corporate Law (Symbiosis University, Pune), Certified Hospitality Manager from American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute in 2020. He has also completed his Diploma in Acupressure Therapy from the Alternative Medical Council of Orissa (AMCO)
Special Achievement
He has been conferred with an "India Excellence ward" in 2023 for his contributions to martial arts. Also, he has been a FIT India Ambassador of FIT India Movement of the Government of India.
