Future Urbanism Smart City Summit & Expo
The Future Urbanism Expo is an upcoming event that is set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates from 16 – 20 October 2023. The Future Urbanism Expo provides a platform for businesses to showcase their green practices and innovations in sustainability for smart cities.[1] The event is co-located with GITEX Global – the world’s largest tech show and it will focus on advancements and innovation in smart city and urban development, covering multi-industry themes such as Edtech, Telecom, and Healthcare.[2] The Future Urbanism Expo is a global forum that seeks to create livable cities of tomorrow by integrating infrastructure, city planning, development, investing, and technology.[3][4] Over the course of three days, the event provides high-level engagement, networking opportunities, and knowledge exchange with key stakeholders in the Urbanism space, with over 300 high-level speakers, 150 exhibitors, and 50 startups.[4][5][6]
The summit features four conference themes and 20+ industry verticals, including smart urban governance, blockchain, and IoT.[5][6][7] It co-locates with other industry-defining events, providing visitors with a single pass for all shows. The event showcases the world's leading smart city innovations across various verticals, including the transition to a net-zero economy and addressing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.[8]
The event's speakers have extensive experience in sustainable urban planning, infrastructure development, engineering management, and sustainability.[8] The five-day event aims to connect Urbanists from various industries, including infrastructure, city planning, development, investing, and technology, to discuss and create livable cities of the future.[9] By promoting innovation and identifying collaboration opportunities, the event is dedicated to creating better cities that reflect the ambitions of the MEA region.

GITEX Impact
GITEX Impact is a technology show focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) that is set to take place from 16-20 Oct 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.[20] The event aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders involved in breakthrough green technologies, investments, finance, and sustainable business models, all guided by global ESG standards.[20]
The event is taking place in line with the UAE's 2050 net zero strategic initiative and $50 billion investment pledge for climate change. It is designed to be a platform to advance the momentum towards green business transformations, and is curated to take place between COP 27 in 2022 and COP 28 later in 2023.[20]
X-VERSE
X-VERSE is a metaverse platform that was launched in 2022. It offers an immersive experience into the potential applications and shifts within the metaverse industry, showcasing various Web 3.0 brands.[21] The platform features case studies and virtual experiences across various industries including gaming, education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and the future of work. X-VERSE provides an opportunity for global enterprises and potential users to connect and explore the possibilities of virtual environments.[22][23]
AI Everything
Ai-Everything, is one of the world’s largest and most influential events dedicated to artificial intelligence.

Expand North Star
Expand North Star Dubai is an annual three-day event that showcases the world's largest start-up show. Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the event brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries in a thriving and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem.[24] The event was conceptualized seven years ago as GITEX Future Stars with only 200 participating start-ups.[25] However, it has since grown to become a globally recognized platform for start-ups and scale-ups. The event provides a creative format to extend engagements with venture capitalists, unicorns, scale-ups, start-ups, and key stakeholders in the tech ecosystem.
