Fantomah is a fictional character created by Fletcher Hanks for Fiction House.
Mystery Woman of the Jungle
Fantomah is a goddess like being who protects the jungles of Africa. She has vast magical powers to the point of being omnipotent and is able to transform into a frightening blue skinned creature and her beautiful face turns into a blue skull with blonde hair. Fantomah would often use her powers to sentence her enemies to bizarre and brutal punishments.
Daughter of the Pyramids
Later writers and artist who lacked Fletcher's uniquely grotesque imagination and portrayed Fantomah as an ordinary Jungle Girl. She still retained more limited version of her powers and in later stories she is the revealed to be the queen of a lost civilization descended from the ancient Egyptians. She has a pet panther named Fury.
Her enemies included Ghazia the Sorceress, Professor Zomax and Org.
