Dung Trần (born February 20, 1988) is a producer, Entrepreneur, Tourism & Lifestyle Expert, and a columnist with articles on sustainable tourism that respects the environment and protect planet. She is also known for community activities, regenerative afforestation and inspiring young people to a lifestyle that respects the environment. Dung Tran's full name is Tran Thi Phuong Dung. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in tourism & hospitality management. She has contributed with her team to public a Yacht- Tourism & Lifestyle Magazine which was launched in 2020.


Career and Accomplishments

Dung Trần has inspired about sustainable tourism based on the principles of protecting nature and culture. She has used her voice to change the perception of the young generation about the responsibility to protect the natural environment and the planet. Dung Trần has written articles about tourism, nature & culture experiences, environment protection on Viet Nam official newspapers and social media platforms.


Answering the World & Vietnam Newspaper under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Dung Tran said: "I heard about sustainable tourism when I was majoring in Tourism Management. I gradually grasped the bigger picture in later years through trips in countries. I see the potential of a truly sustainable tourism effort to alleviate poverty, conserve wildlife and habitats, provide being more culturally savvy and of course having a big impact on climate change. Today, moving towards tourism and a sustainable way of life has been linked to my personal code of ethics. An optimist, I believe sustainable tourism that respects the environment can contribute to making great changes to the planet."


In addition, she is also a Founder of B.C Production, producing music with social themes and positive meaning to connect people together with love, peace and solidarity. MV "Mặt Trời Vẫn Tới Mỗi Ngày" by Dung Tran and her team won 2 important nominations of the Mai Vàng Award: "MV of the Year", "Song of the Year" and was honored as the Most Outstanding Work in 2018. In "Mặt Trời Vẫn Tới Mỗi Ngày" project, Dung Tran taken 4 roles as a producer, a song co-writer, a scriptwriter and a project manager.


Dung Trần can also design and construct the interior by herself. She has appeared as a Guest in TV programs such as "Vui Sống Mỗi Ngày" VTV3, "Thành Phố Hôm Nay" HTV9, "Nhà Đẹp Quanh Ta" THVL to inspire about how young people can independently design and build their own dream houses.


Hobbies

Dung Trần can draw, compose, play Piano/ukulele/guitar. She also love to do interior design and write. Dung Tran is passionate about travel and discovery. She loves nature and always wants to contribute her efforts to protect and make the planet greener every day.

"Dung Trần has contributed to charity activities for the community. The covid pandemic has cast a shadow over the world for more than 2 years. Dung Trần has contributed to the national vaccine fund to help her country overcome the pandemic. Dung Tran also helps orphans in SOS children's village since she was a student until now

Dung Trần participates in sponsoring and helping students. With Dung Tran, she also experienced the time when she went to school and worked with many different jobs. She sees herself in the image of students now, so she always wants to help and support them to the best of her ability. According to her, students are the next generation, promoting intellectual resources, playing a key role in the development of the country, so they should always be respected.

She also participates in blood donation activities, calling for people to donate blood to help patients.
Dung Trần said: "Blood is the most precious gift anyone can give to another - the gift of life. The decision to donate blood can save a life, or possibly many people if your blood is separated into different components- red blood cells, platelets and plasma - can be used individually for many patients"

Recently, she has carried out afforestation activities. Sharing with Saostar, Dung Tran said: "I love nature and forests very much. Forests reduce risks of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, climate change. Forests create biodiversity and balance by ecology. Without forests, many creatures would have nowhere to call home. We depend on forests for our survival, from the clean air we breathe every day, so it is important to preserve and regenerate them"
