Dr. Yaman Altal
Dr. Yaman Altal (Arabic: يمان التل ) is a renowned Urologist[1] and sexual health expert and assistant professor of Urology the Hashemite University in Jordan[2]. His media journey started in 2019 when he hosted a TV segment at Roya TV[3] called mish taboo.
Education
Yaman Altal graduated from medical school in Jordan[4] in 2002. Then traveled to the UK for specialization in 2006 he rewarded the members of the Royal College of the surgeon after completing his surgical training.
Then he completed his Urology specialization at top UK University hospitals he was awarded a fellowship from the London Royal College of a surgeon in urology in 2012.
Between 2012 and 2017 he focused his sub-specialization in urology in Urology cancer surgery at imperial college London University hospital NHS[5] during that time he also focused on sexual health and andrology surgery and was certified as a sexologist by the European society of sexual medicine in 2015.
In 2016 he also achieved the European association of urology fellowship in robotic cancer surgery to be one of the first arb Urologists to receive this prestigious certification.
Career
After 14 years’ journey in the UK. He opened his private clinic in Jordan at Abdali Hospital[6] and he works there in addition, he is an assistant professor of Urology at Hashemite University.
Since then he worked to increase awareness of sexual health issues through different social media venues.
Also, he is a trainer for andrology surgery and he is a regular speaker at medical conferences. In addition, he is a board member of the middle east Society of sexual medicine[7].
