The Satan Disciples also known as the Insane Gangster Satan Disciple Nation better known as the SD's are a predominantly Latino street gang, notorious for drug trafficking, and the high amount of violence and brutality it uses against opposition.

History
The Satan Disiples were founded in 1960 in the outskirts of the neighborhood of North Lawndale, Chicago in order to defend them selves from neighboring street gangs. They first held territory by Douglas Park in the vicinity of 18th & California ,soon after expanded to the neighborhood of Pilsen, Chicago to the vicinity of 18th & Oakley, and the neighborhood of South Lawndale, Chicago in the vicinity of 24th & Rockwell. During the 70's they slowly kept expanding, however during the 80's to early 90's they had a growth spree opening up sets through out the Chicagoland area.[1] The Satan Disciples is one of the first gangs to get targeted by a civil lawsuit, in 1999 by the county of DuPage,IL.[2] Later in the 00's the Satan Disciples went national and expanded all over the United States, mostly to Midwestern and Southern States.[3]
