David Adefeso (born 23 November 1969 Lagos, Nigeria) is an Nigerian entrepreneur and CEO of The Pacific Group, a leading wealth management and financial advisory firm based in Los Angeles.[1] David Adefeso is also the founder and CEO of Sootchy Inc., a technology company focused on eliminating long-term poverty in America by providing all 12.6 million underserved and underrepresented children, particularly children of color, the access, opportunity and financing required to attain a college education with no student debt.[2][3][4]

Education

In 1980 Adefeso completed his high school diploma from Government College Lagos. He did Bachelors of Science from University of Lagos in the year 1990. From Harvard Business School he completed his Bachelors of Business Administration in the year 1996.

Career

Working for the Solomon Brothers and Wasserstein Perella as an investment banker, David Adefeso began to establish his career on Wall Street. Exactly 26 years earlier. After finishing his studies at Harvard, the businessman began working with Global Conglomerates with determination, and by the time he was 32 years old, he had amassed a fortune.[5] Since 2002, Adefeso has been a part of The Pacific Group, where she serves as CEO and a financial consultant. The businessman also put money into Soocthy.Inc, a technology that was introduced in 2019 and eliminates the necessity for student loans in America. He stated in an interview that this technology project will improve our society and increase access to education for many children.[6]

David formerly worked as an investment banker on Wall Street for Salomon Smith Barney and Wasserstein Perella & Co. He carried out intricate merger and acquisition and corporate finance transactions there for some of the biggest businesses in the world. His clientele includes BlueCross/BlueShields of California, Kansas City & Missouri, Allegiance Corp., HealthSouth, MedPartners, Snapple, Interpool Inc., Indigo Aviation, American TransAir, and Aetna US Healthcare. David's previous employment was in the field of public accounting. David studied at Harvard Business School and received his MBA there.[7]
