Daniel J. Manginelli III
Daniel J. Manginelli III (born March 26, 1968), also known as Dan Manginelli, is an American-Italian finance industry professional, writer, national speaker, sales coach, podcast host, and administrator. He is the host of a popular podcast, W.T.F. (Where's the Focus), where he speaks with different guests about their life and experiences, pointing to the premise, “where your focus goes, your energy flows.”[1][2] He is known for his wide knowledge of the finance industry, as well as his work as an author, speaker, and sales coach. Manginelli is the creator and president of the Manginelli Group, a finance company.[3]
Early Life and Education
Manginelli was born on March 26, 1968, in Santa Monica, California. He completed his secondary education at Marina High School. He grew up in Huntington Beach, California, and later in 1988, he moved to Palm Springs, California, to run branches and establish a company. Manginelli moved back to Aliso Viejo, California, in 1993. He currently resides with his three children and wife, Angela, in Laguna Niguel, California.[4][1]
Career
In 2007, Manginelli founded the Manginelli Group and took over the role of President, a position he still serves in.[5][6] In this role, he has provided financial services and guidance to clients, stemming from his experience of over 35+ years in the finance industry.[1][7] His expertise and leadership have contributed to the success of the company. Simultaneously, he has been serving in the position of Managing Director of a top national mortgage company.
Manginelli worked in the mortgage industry since 1986 as a Top Producing Loan Officer, and by 1988, he became a highly successful Branch Manager.[4] In 1988, he became a stockholder of the privity-owned company Marina Mortgage, which was sold to American Home Mortgage in 2000.[8][7]
From 2000, Manginelli worked as a District Vice President at American Home Mortgage[4] for seven years,[5] running the #1 district and most profitable mortgage company in the nation. In 2008, he served as a Regional Vice President at Prospect Mortgage for a year. In 2009, Manginelli joined Pacific Mercantile Bank and served there as a Vice President of Retail Production.[5][7]
From 2010, Manginelli served as an Executive Vice President and as an owner at South Pacific Financial Corp. for nine years, and in March 2017, he was promoted to the position of Co-President, which enabled him to sell the company in 2019 to William Lyon Homes, who are a national builder.[5][7]
In 2020, Manginelli joined Inspire Home Loans Inc. that is a division of National Builders Century Communities. He worked at Inspire Home Loans Inc. as a full-time employee and served as a Sr. Vice President for almost two years.[8][7]
