biography of DANIAL ARAD BEHVAND

Danial Arad Behvand was born on March 10, 1999 in Ramhormoz, Iran. He grew up in Ahvaz and began his football career on the dirt fields and local teams. However, he was forced to retire from professional football due to a serious injury and three consecutive ACL tears.

Behvand won the Ramhormoz League as a player with the Behvand Ramhormoz team. The following season, he joined the Esteghlal Mahallathi team. With Esteghlal Mahallathi, he won the group stage of the Iranian League 3 and advanced to the final stage. In that season, he helped the team to win the championship and promotion to League 2.

The following season, Behvand joined Esteghlal Mahallathi as a player under the guidance of Darius Hermasi. He helped the team win the championship and promotion to League 1. That season, Khider Khorramabad, Esteghlal Ahvaz, and Foolad Novin were the top teams in League 2.

While still playing for Esteghlal Mahallathi, Behvand signed a contract with the Isfahan-based club Sepahan as a scout. However, he suffered another ACL tear in training and was forced to retire from playing again. He then began to pursue a career in coaching.

In the first season of Esteghlal Mahallathi in League 1, Behvand returned to training as a player after recovering from injury. However, he suffered another ACL tear in a training session and was forced to undergo surgery. After several months of recovery, he began working as the media and public relations manager for Esteghlal Mahallathi.

During this time, Behvand also completed the C-level Asian Football Confederation coaching license. In the following season of League 1, he began the season as the assistant coach and public relations manager for Esteghlal Mahallathi. That season, the team enjoyed a successful campaign and was praised for its young coaching staff.

Behvand spent six seasons with Esteghlal Mahallathi, two as a player and four as a coach, media manager, or public relations manager. One of the highlights of his time with the team was helping them to set a record of 31 consecutive matches without a loss, breaking the previous record of 30 held by Esteghlal Ahvaz.

Behvand left Esteghlal Mahallathi in the second half of his final season with the team. He joined Naft Masjed Soleyman as a media consultant and finished the season with the team.

After leaving Naft Masjed Soleyman, Behvand completed the B-level Asian Football Confederation coaching license under the guidance of Fereydoun Hadadi in Ahvaz. He was then appointed as the public relations and media consultant for Esteghlal Khuzestan by the club's CEO and head coach, Seyyed Siroos Pourmousavi. He began his new role with the club at the start of the 2023-2022 Persian Gulf Pro League season.

Behvand also worked as a scout for Sepahan for three years. In 2022, he completed three courses under the supervision of Professor Kameeri, the director of the Aspire Qatar camp (in collaboration with Sepahan and Aspire Qatar) in Isfahan. He received three certificates (football fitness, football conditioning, and football injury prevention) from the international relations department of Sepahan, which were approved by Professor Kameeri.
