Upon graduating, Damon was recruited by several companies including IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, KPMG, and more. He accepted a full-time role with Microsoft upon graduating college in 1999.

In his first role as a Technical Account Manager, Damon was a liaison and customer advocate for Microsoft's Fortune 1000 customers in the Central Region. A few years later, he transitioned into a Resource Manager role and aided Microsoft's internal field teams by providing delivery solutions for the Services organization. In his last role at Microsoft as a US Services Program Director, he was responsible for driving and managing the Preferred Services Partner program for the US subsidiary; a program with approximately seventy-five partner organizations and a total book of business of over $90 million in revenue.

Following Microsoft, Damon started a number of businesses including an investment firm and several technology startups. His investment and business interests have been centered around technology, beverage, fashion, blockchain, and finance.
