Carlton Earl Little, Sr (born November 14, 1981) known professionally as C Mayja, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and MMA fighter.[1]

Early Life

Carlton was born in Memphis, TN. He went to performing arts schools, Colonial Middle and Overton High School where he studied art. He played baseball as a teen and played football and ran track in high school. He walked on at the University of Memphis as a linebacker. He bounced around a few arena and semi pro teams before becoming an MMMA fighter.[2]

Career

MMA

Carlton began his amateur MMA career with a debut against Wes Shivers in 2008.[3] He had the first main event sanctioned fight in TN where he fought at a show that saw country singer star Darryl Worley as the performer. He ended his career 12-7 as an amateur in 2012. He turned pro that year and went started off 3-0. His professional career was plagued with injury and he retired with a record of 8 wins and 8 losses.[4]

Music and acting

Carlton grew up in a family of musicians and singers. He released his first album Love Wars Vol 1 in August of 2022. It was the first of a 3 Volume series. His lead single Better than Me was his most popular song.[5]

As an actor, Carlton made his debut in Sacred Hart, a movie produced by Elrico Tunstall and executive produced by legendary Hall of Fame Boxer Roy Jones Jr..[6]
